About Dr. Diya Sarkar Ghosh

Diya is currently a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. Her doctoral research focussed on the regulatory contours of privacy and data protection with special focus on the Indian regulatory landscape . Through research and learning, she rigorously indulges into exploring the contours of the civil liberties around the internet and its techno-legal aspects. Apart from her masters in Constitutional law and governance from National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), she also has pursued a post graduate diploma in cyber law and cyber forensics from National Law School of India University (NLSIU).

She has actively contributed in the academia as Assistant Professor in law at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology for more than 7 years. Adding to her rich experience, she also has penned several write ups in reputed journals and presented several papers in national as well as international conferences. With her understanding of the "Grundnorm" she is trying to explore the regulatory reach and philosophy of post humanism.
