About Guodong Zhang

Guodong Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in System Analysis and Integration from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2014.06. He joined the South-Central University for Nationalities in 2014.07. From 2025.04, he serves as a Professor and the supervisor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, South-Central Minzu University, Wuhan, China. He has published over 70 journal papers, he received the 2012 Outstanding Master's DegreeThesis Award of Hubei Province, the 2015 Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award of Hubei Province, and the 2016 Chinese Association of Automation Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award. Prof. Zhang is the IEEE Senior Member, he was selected as the world top 2% scientists in 2020-2022, 2024 and 2025. His current research interests include stability analysis of dynamic systems, synchronization, memristive neural networks and event-triggered control.
