About Hui-Qi Qu
Hui-Qi Qu, MB, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at the Center for Applied Genomics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. With a background in clinical medicine and experimental endocrinology, his research spans gene discovery and the genetics of diabetes and metabolic diseases, with a growing focus on integrative omics to better understand complex diseases and advance precision medicine.
My motto: The purpose of scientific publishing is to move science forward. The key is how to strike a balance between rigorous peer review and timely communication of research findings.
