Dr. Iffan Gallant El Muhammady is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Government Science Study Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, Indonesia. He completed his Doctorate in Social Sciences at Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, with a specialization in Critical Policy Studies, governance, political behavior, and community empowerment.

He has been actively involved in political research, particularly on elections and democracy, and has published articles, opinion pieces, and survey-based studies on political dynamics in Indonesia. He is also a certified Level 7 Policy Analyst and Human Resource Management Professional accredited by BNSP. Beyond academia, Dr. Iffan is the founder of LTS Foundation, a non-profit institution focusing on education, policy research, and community empowerment. He is also an active member of the Council for Community Empowerment of Muhammadiyah East Java Indonesia and the Institute of Hikmah and Public Policy (LHKP) of Muhammadiyah Jember Indonesia, where he contributes to community development, policy advocacy, and grassroots empowerment initiatives.
