About Ihsan Ali

Dr. Ihsan Ali (Senior Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Southeast Missouri State University, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, with research specialization in Wireless Sensor Networks and Sensor Cloud Computing. Dr. Ali has over fifteen years of international experience in academia and research, with previous appointments at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, University of Malaya, Al Jouf University, and Bacha Khan University. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor Cloud, Cloud and Fog Computing, Cybersecurity, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. He has published over 80 ISI-indexed journal articles with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 200 and has received more than 5000 citations (h-index: 32). Dr. Ali serves as Guest Editor for several prestigious journals, including IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, Scientific Reports, Measurement: Sensors, and Frontiers in Communications and Networks. He is also an Associate Editor for Quantum Cryptography and IJSECS, and an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports and Computer Systems Science and Engineering. He was recently recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and is actively involved in program committees and editorial initiatives focused on emerging technologies in IoT and smart systems.
