About Juan Ricardo López y Taylor

Medical doctor and obstetrician from the University of Guadalajara, with a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the same university and a specialization in Sports Medicine from the University of Rome, Italy. He is a full-time “C” level professor and a Level I member of the National System of Researchers since 2014. Co-founder of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Culture and Sports (LCFD) in 1982, he has devoted much of his professional career to the revision of its curriculum. He is also the founder of the Institute of Applied Sciences to Physical Activity and Sports, where he has worked as a researcher in the areas of physical activity, exercise, sports, and physical activity promotion.
