About Kai Hao
My Ph.D project revealed the occurrence of local protein synthesis in motile cilia, which subverts the inherent view of that soma have appeared to be the only source of ciliary proteome. My postdoctoral project mainly focus on developing imaging based synthetic circuits to record molecular events at singel cell resolution, and developing multi-omics integrative high throughput optical pooled screen approaches to decipher the intracellular information processing.
