Dr. Krishna Reddy is University Scholar, Distinguished Researcher, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the Director of the Sustainable Engineering Research Laboratory and Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratory at the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA. His expertise is in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering as well as Sustainable and Resilient Engineering, with particular focus on (1) environmental remediation of soils, groundwater, and stormwater, (2) waste management and landfill engineering, and (3) life cycle resiliency and sustainability assessment and engineering. He has authored four books, including two widely recognized textbooks: Geoenvironmental Engineering: Site Remediation, Waste Containment, and Emerging Waste Management Technologies and Sustainable Engineering: Drivers, Metrics, Tools, and Applications. He has also published 319 journal papers, 35 edited books and conference proceedings, 27 book chapters, and 262 full conference papers. He has received numerous awards, including the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award, the ASCE Wesley W. Horner Award, and the ASTM Hogentogler Award. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
