About Luke Botticelli
My main research objective is to develop a platform form complexomics: the high-throughput profiling of protein assembly compositions and structures in complex samples. I dream of integrating native isolation of druggable protein complexes, native-compatible separations, proteomics, crosslinking MS, native MS, and structural prediction models into a combined AI-based model. One day, I hope to create a model capable of reducing the search space of potential complex compositions, predicting assembly structures with PTM-aware context, and scoring/refining structures with experimental insights to derive omics-level insights into the complexome with a single set of experiments.
