About M Sajid Khan
M Sajid Khan is a full Professor of Marketing at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. With over twenty years of international experience, he combines academic rigour with real-world relevance in areas such as consumer loyalty, AI adoption, and the circular economy. He holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour from the University of Manchester and an MBA from Aberystwyth University. His research has appeared in leading journals, including Industrial Marketing Management, Electronic Markets, Risk Analysis, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and the Journal of Business Research, among others, focusing on themes of risk, sustainability, and smart cities. At AUS, he has held several leadership roles and collaborated with global organisations such as Google, the Chalhoub Group, and DP World. His current research concentrates on trust and innovation within digital FMCG ecosystems and related emerging market contexts.
