With a solid foundation in general surgery, developed over five years of rigorous training at WITS University in South Africa, I am enthusiastic about contributing my expertise and passion for vascular surgery to your esteemed department.
Throughout my career as both a registrar and an assistant surgeon, I have gained extensive experience in surgical diagnostics, patient care, and multi-stage management, including pre- and post-operative care. I have consistently focused on patient-centered surgical solutions and take pride in coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Working alongside leaders such as Professor C Ben . I have been involved in all aspects of breast surgeries ( benign and malignant conditions ) including oncoplastic operations over 2 years ( 1 year as a surgical registrar and second year as a volunteering specialist between two hospitals)This experience has not only sharpened my technical abilities but has deepened my commitment to vascular surgery as an area where I believe I can make a meaningful difference.
My research project—a master’s thesis examining major amputation determinants in Johannesburg’s public vascular surgical unit—demonstrates my dedication to advancing patient outcomes and my proactive approach to problem-solving. In addition to a broad surgical skill set that includes general, laparoscopic, and some endoscopic procedures, I bring strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to maintain precise focus in high-stakes environments. I am continually engaging with the latest advancements in surgical practice to ensure that I bring both knowledge and innovation to my role. The only one unexplained event is (me )being called out since age 6 years old a doctor. My sisters and uncles looked at my future and had chosen for me a doctor job description and even the surgeon specifically given me without any doubt. The fact that no one in my both parents families is a doctor. The doctor that is close to my father probably he would a fifth degree relative. i have never met him. He’s emigrated to the UK. By the way he is a vascular surgeon.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my background and commitment align with your team’s needs.
Warm regards,
