After obtaining the Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Catania, I earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering from the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering (DIEEI) at the same university.  During the three years of my PhD and in the subsequent years as a research fellow and collaborator, I participated as a speaker in numerous international conferences and research schools. I have published nearly forty scientific articles in journals and conferences and I have been involved in research project and teaching activities, as well as internships and collaborations with various universities. such as University of Cambridge (UK),  both in Italy and abroad. My research activity, characterized by a strongly interdisciplinary approach, combines fundamental and applied research, focusing on the development of advanced models for telecommunications, drawing inspiration from complex networks and nonlinear social and collective dynamics.
