About Mario Nicola Mazziotta
M. Nicola Mazziotta graduated in Physics in 1991. His research activity focuses on experimental high energy particle physics and astroparticle physics. He has been working on various activities, which include the R&D of innovative detectors, the detector construction, operation and testing, the development of dedicated Monte Carlo simulations and the data analysis. He has been a member of several international scientific collaborations, including MACRO, Fermi-LAT, DAMPE and EEE. He is actually involved in the design of advanced transition radiation detectors for the identification of very high energy hadrons and in several R&Ds on the next generation of gamma-ray and cosmic-ray satellite borne instruments.
