Mohsen Farboud

I am a researcher in Health Services Management with a PhD and a strong research focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence in healthcare. My research interests center on the development, validation, evaluation, and interpretation of predictive models for health outcomes, particularly in epidemiology and the prevention and early detection of non-communicable diseases.

My methodological expertise and interests include machine learning, artificial neural networks, supervised learning, predictive modeling, feature selection, model evaluation, logistic regression, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). I am particularly interested in applying machine learning to large-scale health and cohort datasets and translating predictive models into meaningful tools for evidence-based healthcare decision-making.

My broader research interests include digital health, epidemiology, public health, health services research, and data-driven healthcare. I am also an active peer reviewer with a particular interest in reviewing research involving machine learning, artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, epidemiological methods, statistical analysis, and digital health.
