Niki has a BSc in Biology, and two Masters of Science, in Biodiversity and Sustainability from Leiden University (Netherlands) and in Ecology, Management and Protection of Natural Environment from the University of Patras (Greece). She currently works as a Managing Editor in the Collections Management and Acquisition team for BMC Academic Journals' open access portfolio.
