About Nina Fechler

By training, I'm a material chemist with experience in the design, synthesis and application of sustainable porous (carbon) materials for energy storage and catalysis. During my time as head of a research group, I discovered my passion for questions related to how science can contribute to society. Today, I'm working in the chemical industry where I help to keep plastics in the loop and thereby create a circular economy based on recycling and sustainable value chains.
