I am a Thoracic Surgeon with a clinical practice focused on Lung Transplant and Extracorporeal Life Support. My current research interests include basic science and clinical interests that are focused on novel therapies using extracorporeal perfusion system to minimize surgical complications related to lung transplantation including ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, primary graft dysfunction (PGD), airway ischemia, and chronic allograft dysfunction (CLAD).
