Palle Jorgensen is a Professor of mathematics at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, USA; and before that he taught at Stanford University, Aarhus University (Denmark), and at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a research mathematician, -- held funding from the Natl. Sci. Foundation,-His recent research includes: wavelet theory, subdivision algorithms, multi-resolutions, spectral-tile duality, harmonic analysis on graphs, algorithms, self-similarity limits, scaling and fractals.
