As an Assistant Professor at Shiv Nadar University, I have over 12+ years of experience in teaching and conducting research in the fields of geospatial and environmental science. I am also a Commonwealth Fellow and an Associate Editor at Geocarto International Journal, where I contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in remote sensing and GIS applications. My mission is to use geo-spatial tools and techniques to address environmental problems and challenges, such as urban planning, forest fire modeling, natural resource management, and air pollution monitoring. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at international conferences. I am passionate about sharing my expertise and skills with students, colleagues, and stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Worked on wetlands and their conservation mainly Ramsar sites, published several articles in sustainable development goals, SDGs.
