About Prof. Namdev V. Telore
I am a Professor of Geography with over two decades of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. Currently, I serve as Professor at the Department of Geography and Director of the Research and Development Cell at Raja Shripatrao Bhagawantrao Mahavidyalaya, Aundh, affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India.

📚 I have authored reference books on Geomorphology and Watershed Management and Advances in Geographical Studies, and published over 25 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. I recently co-authored a Springer publication focused on groundwater prospects using morphometric and geospatial techniques.
🛰️ I coordinate academic outreach through the IIRS-ISRO EDUSAT program, guide Ph.D. and postgraduate dissertations, and contribute as a resource person and external referee for research coursework and viva voce examinations.
🌐 Research Interests:
I am passionate about using geospatial tools to solve real-world environmental problems—especially in semi-arid regions of India. My work aims to promote integrated watershed management, climate adaptation, and sustainable development at the grassroots level.
