Rakesh Chandra is an Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, specializing in public health, health systems, and policy. His research focuses on health equity, maternal and child health, and the socio-spatial dimensions of healthcare access in India. With a strong grounding in both data-driven analysis and quantitative research, he has worked on national and cross-national studies addressing healthcare access and equity, health-seeking behavior, and health service delivery.
