About Shahab Aman e Room
I am a geologist and researcher specializing in sedimentology, basin analysis, depositional systems, diagenesis, and reservoir characterization. I hold a PhD in Sedimentology from China University of Petroleum (East China), with research focused on the sedimentological and diagenetic controls on reservoir quality and pore-system evolution in continental and lacustrine sedimentary basins. My research experience includes clastic sedimentology, facies analysis and modeling, sequence stratigraphy, provenance, petrography, diagenetic processes, reservoir heterogeneity, and quantitative reservoir-quality evaluation. I have authored and co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications and have experience integrating core, petrographic, mineralogical, geochemical, and reservoir datasets to investigate depositional and post-depositional processes. My research interests broadly encompass sedimentary basin evolution, sandstone reservoirs, diagenesis, and petroleum-system applications.
