About Somayeh Farhang Dehghan
Somayeh Farhang Dehghan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Health and Safety, School of Public Health and Safety, at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. She received her B.Sc. degree in Occupational Health from Iran University of Medical Sciences and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
She teaches Thermal Stress and Air Pollution Control at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in Occupational Health and Safety.
Her research focuses on occupational health and industrial hygiene, with particular emphasis on air pollution, air filtration technologies, nanofibers, occupational exposure assessment, quantitative risk assessment, heat stress, and the occupational safety and health aspects of nanomaterials, including exposure characterization and preventive strategies for workers handling engineered nanomaterials.
