About Soumyananda Chakraborti

Soumya is a biochemist and structural biologist currently serving as an Assistant Professor at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad. His primary research focuses on developing therapeutic agents against malaria and creating protein-based drug delivery tools.

            Previously, Soumya held a position as an Assistant Professor at Malopolska Centrum Biotechnologi, UJ in Poland. He has authored over 50 publications, with a notable h-index of 27. His research spans several key areas including Infectious Disease Biology, Structural Parasitology, Mosquito Omics, Drug Development, Synthetic and Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Protein engineering, Computational Biology, and Bio-nanotechnology.
