About Stephen Flood

Dr Flood has over 16 years’ experience in climate change, environmental policy and social science research, covering both qualitative and quantitative research methods. His research interests, all focused on climate change adaptation and behavioural change, include: Serious Games for Climate Action; Data Visualisation, Online Platforms and Communication;Indicators for Climate Resilience; Climate Justice; The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; Resilience and Systems Thinking; Coastal Management; Climate Change Adaptation, Governance and Decision-making; and Vulnerability Assessment, Risk and Hazard Management. His work makes a direct social and environmental impact by enabling communities and end users to make better decisions, increase their environmental governance capacity, and thus protect their local environments and communities from the present and future impacts of climate change.
