About Uttama Mukherjee

I have a doctoral degree in computational chemistry with prior industrial experience as synthetic organic chemist in a CRO. I also have a brief experience in publication support industry as research editor specializing in scientific writing, editing and peer-review.

I have 4 years of post-Ph.D. research experience as Scientist at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune (2021-2025), where I was investigating post-combustion CO2 capture and sequestration through computational modeling.

Currently I am exploring various domains of scientific research and communication, scientific and educational content creation and research consultancy.
