About Veronika Laszlo
I am a freshly graduated PhD researcher specializing in sustainable food systems and consumer behaviour.
I have experience in mixed-methods research, psychometric scale development, and behavioural analysis, and I am actively involved in EU-funded international research projects such as BEAMING, DaWetRest, and ClimaPannonia, which address topics like knowledge valorisation, nature-based solutions, and gender equality in sustainability transitions.
My doctoral research focused on understanding how consumers perceive local food through different types of proximity and how these perceptions influence purchasing behaviour.
I am passionate about connecting academic insights with real-world practice and policymaking, and I enjoy working in international, interdisciplinary research teams.
