About Vinayak Kamble

Vinayak leads the "SMaRT Lab," focusing his research on the electronic transport properties of nanomaterials for smart device applications. His work also explores the impact of structural defects on the transport properties of semiconductor materials and devices. Over the years, he has earned several accolades, including the DAE Young Achiever Award, the Rising Star in Materials Science recognition from the ACS, the IISER-TVM Teaching Excellence Award, and the 'Inspire Faculty Award' from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Dr. Kamble is a member of the Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) in New Delhi, and The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) Allahabad, Young associate of Maharashtra Academy of Sciences, Pune and is actively involved in science outreach to both students and the general public.
