Abstract
This topic focuses on recent advances in hybrid metallurgical processes that integrate hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and electrometallurgy for metal extraction and recycling of waste-derived materials. Particular emphasis will be placed on innovative process combinations, fundamental studies, and industrial applications that improve process efficiency, sustainability, and resource recovery. Contributions addressing critical and strategic metals, recycling of end-of-life products, and the role of hybrid approaches, supported by LCA and TEA, in advancing circular economy goals are particularly welcome.
