We are pleased to announce that Archives of Virology is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated individual to serve as Editor-in-Chief from 2025.

With a 2024 Impact Factor of 2.5 and 1.2 million article downloads worldwide in 2024, Archives of Virology is a broad-scope journal publishing the latest research, technological advancements and diagnostic techniques within the field of virology.

The new Editor-in Chief will collaborate closely with the Associate Editors and the publisher to shape the future direction of the journal.
