At Nature Communications we are excited to announce the launch of our new collection on f-block elements. This collection aims at highlighting the relevance of this research field and showcasing the latest work at various levels, ranging from fundamental research to applications of f-block elements. In particular, the collection is divided in the following four sections:

  • Structure and bonding in f-block complexes
  • f-elements in catalysis
  • Materials
  • Electronic and spin properties
