I am interested in establishing new international research collaborations with researchers, universities, research institutes, and industry partners working in microbiology, microbial ecology, gut microbiome research, and related biomedical fields.

My research focuses on microbial sulfur metabolism, intestinal sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ulcerative colitis (UC), and the mechanisms linking microbial activity to intestinal inflammation and colorectal cancer development.

I am particularly interested in:

• Horizon Europe projects: Connecting with potential partners and research consortia preparing collaborative proposals.

• Joining existing projects: Contributing my scientific expertise as a research partner to ongoing or planned international projects.

• Remote research collaborations: Developing joint publications, research activities, grant applications, and scientific initiatives.

• Editorial opportunities: Open to paid scientific editing, editorial roles, and other opportunities related to academic publishing, particularly in microbiology and biomedical research.
