Professor Cindi May from the College of Charleston writes about a recent article from Indiana University researchers, which rebuts arguments as to why learning styles may not be a myth. May also gives a round-up (with links to research articles) of evidence-backed steps students and teachers can take to improve learning - things like testing, elaboration and spacing.
