World Oceans Day
Published in Ecology & Evolution

Our February issue included a focus on coral reefs, bringing together articles from across the Nature journals. See also this more recent study on reef resilience.
Several genome studies of marine organisms have included three jellyfish studies, a snailfish from the Mariana Trench, Antarctic blackfin icefish that are adapted to sub-zero temperatures, and insights into speciation from hamlet reef fish.
This study looks at the global impact of marine exotic species, while two studies have looked at the effects of climate change on zooplankton and salmon. Finally, a Comment article calls for better policies for mangrove restoration.
