World Rivers Day (22nd September 2024) is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of every September, putting a spotlight on the natural and cultural values of our world’s waterways. It is also an initiative that emphasizes the importance of protecting rivers across the globe. You can find out more about the history of World Rivers Day here.
