About Oleg Lunov, PhD

Oleg Lunov is a Head of the Laboratory of Biophysics at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

The research of our laboratory is focused on the effects of materials, structures, interfaces, particles, and physical fields on biological systems as well as the development of new biotechnological concepts. Fundamentally we try to understand how mechanical forces (external and internal) shape cell fate via impacting organelle interaction and functions.
