About Anson Call

I am a postdoctoral spatial analyst at the Colorado Forest Restoration Institute, which is part of Colorado State University. I joined the Institute in 2024 and I'm am currently working on the mapping and spatial analysis of wildfire-fuels treatment interactions in support of the ReSHAPE project. My research examines the effect of forest management activities, such as thinning and prescribed fire, on the severity and spread of wildfire. I completed a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno as well as an M.S. and B.S. in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation from Brigham Young University.
