About Deepti Singh
I am an education researcher with a strong interest in adolescent development, life skills education, emotional resilience, and subjective well-being in the digital age. My work primarily focuses on conceptual and empirical research exploring how life skills, grit, emotional regulation, and psychosocial factors contribute to adolescents’ resilience, mental health, and positive development.
I have authored and co-authored several research papers in peer-reviewed journals, with particular emphasis on life skills training, emotional well-being, digital literacy, and educational interventions. My recent work introduces the conceptual framework of the Life Skill–Grit Nexus, highlighting the synergistic role of life skills and perseverance in fostering adolescent resilience.
My broader research interests include educational psychology, social-emotional learning (SEL), adolescent mental health, parenting styles, digital well-being, teacher education, and policy-oriented research aligned with NEP 2020. I am passionate about translating research insights into practical strategies that support educators, parents, and policymakers in nurturing emotionally strong, resilient, and well-rounded learners.
