About Dr. Ajay Kumar Tiwari
I (Dr. Ajay Kumar Tiwari) am an accomplished physicist, academician, and researcher with expertise in nanoscience, spectroscopy, and the biomedical applications of nanomaterials. I obtained my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from Nehru Gram Bharati University, Prayagraj, in 2015. Driven by a passion for scientific research and innovation, I pursued doctoral studies and earned my Ph.D. in Physics from Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University), Prayagraj, in 2022.
My doctoral research focused on the spectroscopic investigation of bio- and nanomaterials, with particular emphasis on their green synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of biological activities such as antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. This work enabled me to explore the immense potential of nanomaterials for biomedical applications and strengthened my interest in interdisciplinary research.
Throughout my academic career, I have remained committed to scientific excellence and innovation. I have authored and co-authored several research articles published in reputed international journals, contributing to advancements in nanotechnology, material science, and the biomedical applications of nanoparticles. My research has particularly emphasized environmentally sustainable approaches to nanoparticle synthesis and their therapeutic potential.
I began my teaching career as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Sanskriti University, Mathura, in 2023. Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor of Physics and In-Charge Dean (Research) at G H Raisoni International Skill Tech University, Pune. In this role, I actively mentor students and young researchers, facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations, support research and innovation initiatives, and contribute to strengthening the university's research ecosystem.
My research interests extend beyond my doctoral investigations and include nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, spectroscopy, green nanotechnology, antioxidant and antimicrobial studies, and the development of novel analytical methods and computational models aimed at enhancing the biomedical utility of nanomaterials. I am particularly interested in translating fundamental scientific discoveries into practical solutions that benefit society.
In addition to my academic and research pursuits, I possess strong technical, administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. I am passionate about curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies that bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. I strongly believe that education and research should go hand in hand to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning among students.
With dedication to teaching, enthusiasm for research, and a commitment to academic leadership, I strive to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science, higher education, and the development of future generations of researchers and innovators.
