About Eva Constanze Weiß
I love star gazing and watching "Star Trek". I am a trained medical assistant and so-called "study nurse". This means assisting a doctor (medical professional person) to carry out scientific research.
I came across the topic of light pollution when listening to a German podcast named “Planet A - Nur mal kurz die Welt retten” (Planet A - a quick guide to saving the world).
One thing led to another, and I ended up joining the “Nachtlichter” citizen science project in January, 2020. Nachtlicher means “night lights”, and it is a co-designed project and app for research about light pollution. Co-design means that people with different levels of scientific expertise, including citizen scientists with or without academic backgrounds, work together on a project.
