I am a clinical microbiology and molecular diagnostics researcher with a strong focus on infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and laboratory-based diagnostic methods. My work centers on improving the detection and management of bacterial and viral infections using molecular techniques such as PCR and real-time PCR, particularly in cases of meningitis and multidrug-resistant organisms.

I have experience in both clinical and translational research, with publications in infectious diseases, microbiology, and digital health. My research also includes systematic literature reviews and regional health topics relevant to the Eastern Mediterranean area, including Familial Mediterranean Fever and its association with the gut microbiota.

I am particularly interested in advancing rapid diagnostic approaches, antimicrobial stewardship, and evidence-based clinical practice. I also have a strong interest in scientific publishing and peer review, and I am motivated to contribute to the quality and integrity of the scientific literature through constructive and rigorous manuscript evaluation.
