About Min Jae Park

I am currently enrolled in the Integrated M.S./Ph.D. Program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Yonsei University, working in Prof. Sang-Woo Kim’s research group. My research focuses on the development of self-powered and fully integrated functional device systems based on energy harvesting, advanced materials, and device engineering. I have worked on complete system-level platforms that integrate energy generation, sensing, signal transmission, and practical output functions, including applications in environmental monitoring, water treatment, and wearable healthcare devices.

From Everyday Motion to Safer Water: A Self-Powered Floating Capsule for Water Detection and Disinfection

Safe water is often secured by infrastructure, but this can fail in remote, rural, or disaster-affected settings. Our self-powered floating capsule uses everyday motion to assess water quality, transmit TDS data, and support microbial disinfection without batteries or chemical additives.
