About Mohamed Baklola
Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Mansoura University, Egypt. He has extensive experience in the field of mental health, public health, and social psychology, with a focus on substance use disorders, mental health literacy, stigma, and help-seeking behaviors. Mohamed has worked at research institutions and universities across Egypt and Saudi Arabia, contributing significantly to the understanding of neuropsychiatric manifestations, psychological impacts of prolonged infertility, and the ethical applications of artificial intelligence in psychiatry. His research has been published in leading journals, covering topics such as the utilization of mental health services and the impact of social media on health behaviors. Prior to joining BMC Psychiatry, Mohamed co-founded the Mental Health Research Network of Egypt and the Arab Clinical Research Institute, where he continues to lead impactful research initiatives.
