About Muhammad Umair Khan

Dr Muhammad Umair Khan received his BSc in Electronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2016, his Master of Engineering in 2019, and PhD in 2022 from Jeju National University, South Korea, with a Major in Ocean System Engineering Specialization in (Material and Electronic System Engineering). Dr. Khan is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the System on Chip Center at Khalifa University, UAE. Dr. Khan is dedicated to promoting multidisciplinary innovation and developing technologies that bring societal benefits. Dr Khan continually seeks prospects where scientific innovations can positively transform the quality of life and the environment. As a Research Fellow, Dr. Khan has exhibited proficiency in nanoelectronics, demonstrating a robust skill set in fabricating nanoscale memristive devices and analyzing their properties for advanced nonvolatile memory applications and brain-inspired neuromorphic computing systems. Additionally, Dr. Khan's extensive knowledge and expertise in the memcapacitance effect in resistive random access memory (RRAM), self-powered devices, and wearable sensors have paved the way for innovative developments in these fields.
