About Olumide Adisa

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Violence and Society Centre, where I lead the Complex Systems Theory Strand on the VISION Consortium. I am affiliated with the School of Policy and Global Affairs. I specialise in complex systemic change theories and approaches to informing thinking and practice on violence prevention and mitigation, mental health, and improving services and commissioning for all victims/survivors. I also work as a Policy and Commissioning Manager at the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, co-leading the Mayor of London's refreshed strategy to tackle violence against women and girls, and commissioning VAWG programmes. I have led a team of independent researchers and evaluation coordinators specialising in a broad range of topics across our four key research themes: violence, abuse, and intersectional equity, and complex systems change, including co-curating the well-received, pioneering book Tackling Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence: A Systems Approach.
