Author Biography

Prof. Sharique Hassan Manazir is a faculty of Public Policy & Digital Democracy in the Humanities and Social Sciences Area at the Indian Institute of Management Indore. His research focuses on public policy, digital governance, technological change, institutional transformation and the political economy of emerging technologies. His work has developed the Non-Linear Public Policy Framework and the concept of the Policy Panopticon, with research published across public policy, governance and interdisciplinary social science journals. He is also the sole author of the Routledge book Foundations of Public Policy: Theory, Process, and Practice from the Global South. His current research examines generative AI, independent learning, human capability and the future organisation of labour. He is Area Editor of the Data & Policy Journal and a Member of the Public Policy Advisory Committee of the National Innovation Foundation, Government of India.
