About Sheena Visram
I'm an Honorary Professor of Practice at UCL’s Department of Computer Science, where I specialise in humanitarian systems and emerging healthcare technologies. My work sits at the intersection of health, innovation, and public impact and shaped by over 20 years of leadership across clinical, academic, and venture ecosystems.
As Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Industry Exchange Network (IXN) for Good, I help connect students, researchers, NGOs, and public institutions to prototype cutting-edge technologies that address real-world humanitarian challenges. I serve as Principal Advisor to the UK’s Quantum Biomedical Sensing Research Hub (Q-BIOMED), enabling the clinical quantum interface, and mentor early-stage biotech ventures through the KQ Labs Accelerator at the Francis Crick Institute, supporting founders as they prepare for investor engagement and scale.
My passion lies in driving responsible innovation that serves global health, with a particular interest in knowledge exchange, technology diplomacy, and building cross-border partnerships between London and the Asia-Pacific. I’m committed to ensuring that the future of healthcare is both equitable and collaborative.
