About Yi-Lun Jheng
I hold a PhD in Educational Sciences and Communication Sciences from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. My research explores the emotional and cognitive processes involved in learning from texts, with a particular focus on health (mis)information. Using a multi-method approach, I combine self-reports, eye tracking, and psychophysiological measures to capture the dynamic nature of readers’ experiences.
My overarching goal is to deepen our understanding of how people process, comprehend, and evaluate complex or controversial information, and to contribute to the development of more effective educational and communication strategies.
