A minute with...Jane Lubchenco

Jane is a marine ecologist and Distinguished Professor at Oregon State University, who has previously served as Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, and Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Jane was nominated by US President Barack Obama as part of his science “dream team”, and she is also former President of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the Ecological Society of America (ESA).
