Call for papers: Crosstalk Between Tissue-Resident Adaptive and Innate Memory Cells

What is this collection about?
Innate memory cells undergo epigenetic and metabolic modulation that can promote faster or stronger responses to sterile and non-sterile stimulation. However, the interactions between innate memory cells and tissue-resident adaptive immunity remain incompletely understood. In this cross-journal collection, the editors of Nature Communications, Nature Immunology, Communications Biology, Communications Medicine and Scientific Reports invite submissions examining how innate memory cells shape tissue-resident adaptive immune cells and vice versa, as well as the physiological consequences of this crosstalk. We welcome observational and mechanistic studies using human, animal and non-human primate models in settings including infection, cancer and autoimmunity.
